At Shah Notary & Apostille Services, we ensure that your notarized documents are delivered securely, efficiently, and with full tracking. We use premium shipping services and careful handling to provide peace of mind for every shipment — domestic or international.
Shipping & Handling Fees
FedEx Shipping Rate — Calculated based on our discounted business account rates, typically lower than public rates.
Handling Fee — Covers document preparation, packing, labeling, and drop-off.
Domestic Shipments: Handling fee ranges from $10–$20 per shipment.
International Shipments: Handling fee ranges from $20–$40 per shipment, reflecting additional preparation for customs and compliance requirements.
International Shipments & Customs
To minimize delays and customs fees, international shipments are declared as documents with a minimal value ($1). This is standard practice for legal document shipments and avoids unnecessary import duties or customs hold-ups.
Important: Declaring the full invoice value may increase shipping costs or trigger additional customs fees for the recipient.
We exclusively use FedEx International Priority for international shipments. Economy or local postal options may appear cheaper but often carry limited tracking, no guaranteed transit times, and minimal liability — an unacceptable risk for notarized documents.
Shipping Responsibility & Liability
Once a package is handed to FedEx (or your chosen carrier) and a tracking number is provided, the carrier assumes responsibility for delivery. Shah Notary & Apostille Services is not liable for delays, loss, or damage during transit. FedEx’s terms and conditions apply.
Delivery Time Estimates
Delivery times provided by FedEx are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to weather, holidays, logistical constraints, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Recipient Responsibilities
International Shipments: Import duties, taxes, or other fees may apply. These are the recipient’s responsibility. We recommend confirming local customs requirements before shipping.
Address Accuracy: Please ensure all shipping details are accurate and complete. Incorrect or incomplete addresses may result in delayed or failed deliveries.
Force Majeure
Shah Notary & Apostille Services is not responsible for shipping delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, civil unrest, strikes, or government restrictions.
Limitation of Liability
We are not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged shipments once the package is with the carrier.
