Booking, Payment & Scheduling Policy
At Shah Notary & Apostille Services, each appointment is individually prepared and reserved to ensure a seamless, efficient, and private client experience. The following policy reflects our commitment to dedicated service time and professional standards.
Engagement & Quotes
All services begin with a custom quote based on the details provided through our intake process or direct communication.
Quotes reflect a single total amount tailored to your specific request. We do not offer automated or “starting at” pricing.
Quotes are valid for the timeframe stated and are subject to availability.
Advance Payment & Reservation
Advance payment is required to initiate service and secure appointment capacity.
Services under $50 require full prepayment.
Services totaling $50 or more require a 50% advance payment, with the remaining balance due on the day of service.
Advance payment secures service engagement and initiates scheduling coordination. Specific appointment times are arranged after payment is received and are subject to mutual availability.
Payment does not guarantee a particular time slot unless expressly confirmed in writing.
As appointment capacity is limited and reserved exclusively, advance payments are non-refundable once submitted.
Third-party payment processing fees are non-refundable.
Scheduling
Scheduling is coordinated after payment is received.
While we make every reasonable effort to accommodate preferred dates and timeframes, exact appointment times are subject to availability.
Clients with highly restricted or narrow availability windows are encouraged to confirm general availability prior to submitting payment.
Inability to align with a significantly limited scheduling window does not constitute grounds for refund.
Rescheduling
One reschedule request may be accommodated if made at least 24 hours in advance and is subject to availability.
Requests made within 24 hours of the appointment may be treated as a cancellation.
Cancellations & No-Shows
Cancellations after payment has been submitted result in forfeiture of the advance payment.
Failure to appear at the scheduled appointment without prior notice will result in forfeiture of payment and may incur additional travel or preparation fees where applicable.
Shipping & Additional Services
If shipping services are requested, all related shipping and handling fees will be included in your quote. Full details are outlined in our Shipping & Handling Policy.
Exceptions
Documented emergencies may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. Any exception granted does not constitute a waiver of this policy.
Acknowledgment
By approving your quote and submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree to this Booking, Payment & Scheduling Policy.
